Non-Invasive Diagnostics

At First Step Foot Care, our Board-Certified podiatrists provide a spectrum of diagnostic technology to accurately diagnose foot and ankle conditions

Ultrasound

First Step Foot Care offers ultrasound technology that can assist in the treatment and diagnosis of soft tissue conditions.

An ultrasound is a diagnosis method that uses a special probe to take an image of your foot in order to determine your foot condition. The probe emits sound waves into your body tissues, which are returned to the probe once reaching your body tissues and converted to an image. This image is used to diagnose and determine treatment for your foot condition. Ultrasound effectively allows the physician to target the area of need for treatment.
