What is your patient portal? How do you access it?
We understand how important it is in managing your healthcare. Our Patient Portal will give you the ability to do the following through a safe and secure portal:
Provide up-to-date personal and medical information for your doctor.
Obtain, review, and print lab results, visit summaries, and medical information for your records.
Download your personal health record.
Recieve special instructions and messages from your Physician.
The patient portal can be accessed from the main page of our website by clicking on the image above. If you need us to reset your password, give one of our front desk staff members a call and they will reset your password and you will be sent an email being notified of the changes. All new patients who provid us with an email, will recieve their username and password emailed to them when you schedule your appointment.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept Cash, Check, Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express
Do you charge for missed appointment or no shows?
We reserve the right to implement a service fee of $50.00 for all appointments cancelled without 24 hour notice.
Do you charge a fee for paying with a credit card?
No we do not charge a fee for paying with credit card.
Do I call you for a medication refill or call the pharmacy?
You can do both!
Where Should I get my blood work done?
We suggest that you use ACL, Quest, or Labcorp laboratories. They have locations all over the Chicago area. Some insurances require use of a particular laboratory.
Are your doctors with my insurance?
We participate with most major insurance companies. It is always a good idea to check with your insurance company prior to your visit.
Do you do office surgeries?
We do a variety of in-office surgical procedures. These are only recommended by your physician when medical necessary.
Can I see my doctor in various locations?
For your convenience, most of our physicians are available at a variety of our locations. Call today to schedule an appointment with your preferred physician in your preferred location
Can I follow up with any of the doctors?
It is ok to see a different doctor than your primary physician at our office. We at First Step Foot Care are a team. Though we always strive to get you the soonest appointment with your preferred physician, we will always work with your schedule and find a physician that can see you when it works best for you.
Are your offices wheelchair accessible?
All of our offices are wheelchair accessible. Our staff is more than happy to assist with holding doors open and helping you navigate through our offices.
Is there parking available?
All of our offices have free parking located in the immediate vicinity.
Do you accept walk-ins?
We do require that all patients schedule an appointment with our offices. However, that doesn't mean that we lack the capability of same-day-appointments on an emergency basis. Just give us a call and we will get you in as soon as possible with your preferred physician in your preferred office.
