Professional Activities/Career Highlights:

Serving as a podiatric surgeon and educator for the United States Army. I was chief of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery-Department of Orthopedics and Podiatry at Irwin Army Community Hospital with the First Infantry Division, Fort Riley Kansas. I functioned in the roles practitioner and educator as a specialist in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.

About Myself:

I have been happily married for 25 years and am a parent to two teenage girls which makes every day a learning process. I enjoy the great outdoors and run, bicycle, and ski with different clubs.

Dr. Daniel C. Surowiec

I really enjoy getting to know my patients.  Each is different in their own way.  Over time I’ve come to appreciate these differences and expect the unexpected.  This often makes for a very interesting day!  Whether it’s a simple ingrown toenail or a complex wound, I like to stress the importance of open communication and mutual respect with each of my patients.  I also believe that staying current with the medical literature is important as it ensures quality care that is never out of date.
